Simon is a leader in international trade, commercial strategy, and government relations, helping to drive growth and expansion in both the public and private sectors.
Simon has held a number of roles within government including as Senior Advisor for Trade & Economics, supporting cross-border trade and growth. As Head of International Trade at techUK, he has successfully supported governments and companies of all sizes, across multiple sectors, navigate complex public policy, trade, and operational challenges.
More recently, Simon has successfully transitioned from supporting economic and organisational development internationally in the public sector to driving private-sector strategy and commercial growth.
As Commercial Director at L Marks, Simon supported the delivery of large-scale innovation programmes for FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies, connecting scale-up ventures with corporates. Latterly, as Chief Operating Officer at Agile Spray Response, a counter-pollution scale-up, Simon helped grow the organisation’s presence internationally.
Simon has spoken at events across the globe on international technology trends and is a member of the King’s Awards for Enterprise Judging Committee for International Trade. He holds a BA (Hons.) in International Studies with Political Science from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
